Ned, how would you describe yourself as an entrepreneur??

I Am an ICT professional with a working experience of 30+ years of which the last 26 years in Business development and management positions at International software companies like Capgemini, Computer Associates, QAD, ICRON and Tazi.ai, during which I successfully managed International Business development incl. Sales & Marketing, R&D and services teams in Europe, USA and Asia.

Under my leadership as the CEO of ICRON technologies, for more than 15 years, the company grew from a small (2-3 starting implementations in 2003) local project focused company to a global most innovative (incl. AI/Machine Learning) software provider of Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) and Supply Chain Optimization solutions for manufacturing and MRO companies (e.g. Phillips, LG, VESTEL, ASML, Rolls Royce, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines) with offices in Chicago, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Singapore combined with a global network of partners, with more than 200 customer implementations worldwide. Next to APS solutions provider we became also member of the ASML and Vestel Green Field team for delivering the Future Mode of Operations (FMO).

At my last position as the COO of TAZI.AI, a California (USA) based AI – Automated ML Startup company founded by 2 Academicians, I have led the company, all the way from product outline, development up to packaging focused on the Target market, to become a global AI Auto ML product/platform provider in a unique business category realizing a company valuation of more than 25Mio Euro. Tazi has been nominated as “Cool Vendor” by Gartner, next to Best AI Startup, HTT global top 100, named as the Next Generation Auto ML by senior Analysts of Data Science Central.

I believe in people and passion, working with the ‘end goal in mind’, based on a clear definition of value from the perspective of the customer. Focus on what will give results.
